Diablo 4 Season 14 Leveling Meta: Master 3 Explosive Routes to Hit Level 70 in Record Time with IGGM.com!

With Diablo Season 14 underway, anyone planning to create a seasonal character will need to settle on a leveling strategy.

Season of Death Awakening offers a wealth of ways to gain experience, yet that very abundance can leave indecisive players feeling stuck. To help, IGGM.com has put together several practical leveling routes, so you can pick the one that suits your style.

Master Three Efficient Leveling Routes in Diablo 4 Season 14 with IGGM.com

Leveling Methods

In Season 14, it is possible to reach level 70 in under an hour using a certain approach, but that method often leaves your gear lagging far behind your level, forcing you to invest extra time farming Diablo 4 gold and materials.

Thus, the fastest option is not necessarily the best for everyone. The three strategies that follow each have their own strengths and weaknesses, and their efficiency varies as well:

  • War Plans

  • Helltide

  • Kurast Undercity

War Plans Leveling

This route focuses entirely on completing all activities within War Plans, which include Dungeons, Undercity, Helltides, and all associated quest turn-ins.

Pros

By following this path, you can finish War Plans ahead of time and unlock War Plans Tree, giving you a notable head start by the time you hit level 70.

If you dislike repeating the same content over and over, this method lets you rotate freely among Helltides, dungeons, Whisper bounties, and Undercity, keeping the experience varied.

After completing a War Plan objective, opening the reward caches and turning in tasks to Tyrael yields substantial Diablo 4 materials and XP, with Whisper Caches offering an especially generous bonus.

Cons

Some War Plans objectives take a long time to finish, and they may occasionally force you into activities you do not enjoy. In terms of pure efficiency, constantly switching between different types of content wastes some time, so this route is the least efficient of the three overall.

How to execute?

Begin with Helltide as your starting point. Once you open War Plans Table, try to reroll for Helltide-related War Plans. You will soon earn enough skill points to unlock key nodes.

Aim for the middle path and take both Hellmouth and Wraith and Rot nodes, which guarantee that Hellwyrms always drop Maggots, providing a huge experience yield.

In Hardcore mode, exercise extra caution because Hellmouth node also summons Blood Seekers; these enemies are exceptionally dangerous and can kill you in one hit even on Normal difficulty.

Undercity becomes available at level 25, but War Plans Tree nodes for it only unlock at that same level. Once you reach 25, your target is Jade Epiphany node on the tree.

Helltide Leveling

Even without War Plans system, Helltide remains one of the fastest leveling strategies. If you concentrate solely on Helltide, you only need to complete 14 Helltide War Plan nodes to unlock Hellwyrm-related bonuses. After that, stop doing other War Plans and simply ride your mount across Helltide zone, focusing entirely on hunting Hellwyrms.

Pros

Because this approach skips many of the lengthier War Plans tasks, it is faster than pure War Plans grinding. Helltide activities also provide excellent experience all the way from level 1 to 70.

Killing monsters yields Aberrant Cinders, and opening chests grants plenty of gear, while completing Whisper bounties for Grim Favors lets you exchange them for Whisper Caches that give additional experience. By the time you reach level 70, your gear should not be too far behind.

Cons

This method forces you to repeat the same activity throughout the entire process, which can become tedious. Progress on War Plans tree is relatively slow during the leveling phase.

You need to complete 14 nodes upfront before reaching maximum efficiency, so the early stages are less effective. At low levels, Hellwyrms are quite challenging, especially if your gear is weak.

How to execute?

Start by finishing at least 14 Helltide War Plan nodes and unlock Hellmouth and Wraith and Rot. Once you have the required nodes, cease all other War Plans. Then ride your mount and patrol Helltide zone repeatedly, searching for and killing worms.

When Threat Meter at the top of the screen exceeds 50%, worm spawns become significantly more frequent. Your goal is not to clear every monster but to keep your threat level between 50% and 100% while continuously scouting for worms.

Kurast Undercity Leveling

This approach requires you to focus on running Kurast Undercity repeatedly, leveraging its experience-bonus mechanics for extremely rapid leveling.

Pros

In Season 14, this is the most efficient method overall. Pylons inside Undercity grant powerful buffs such as cooldown reduction and increased movement speed, making the runs smooth even with mediocre gear.

Moreover, you only need to complete four Undercity-related War Plans to unlock the key talent, after which you can farm it endlessly.

Cons

Undercity does not unlock until level 25, so you will need an alternative method to bridge that gap, and War Plans progress remains slow during that transition.

Compared to Helltide or general War Plans, Undercity yields fewer crafting materials and limited gear drops, so your equipment may fall behind after level 70. However, you can buy Diablo 4 items with better affixes directly from IGGM.com to skip the tedious farming process.

How to execute?

After reaching level 25, invest all your War Plans points into Undercity branch to unlock Jade Epiphany. Inside Undercity, skip all minor enemies and activate the four attunement levels in sequence.

At each Attunement level (1 through 4), experience orbs appear. Before unlocking this talent, rush straight to the boss and skip all regular monsters; after unlocking it, activate all four attunement levels first, then ignore the mobs and head directly to the boss.

These three leveling routes represent only the most basic options. IGGM.com recommends using a group to gain additional XP buffs for even faster leveling.
